"The Dionysian".
Truly the biggest labour of love in my creative life thusfar, and certainly the one closest to my own personal vision - having shot, edited and directed it myself from a gritty old rooftop in Shoreditch . . .
From the beginning, the intention with my fabulous stylist Helen McGuckin was to create a film installation that deftly captured our tastes and passions visually, and really set our stall out for what we want to do more of in the future. More fashion! More film! More dark, delicious melodrama . . !
"The Dionysian" debuted on October 18th 2011 as the centrepiece of a fashion film installation in East London's renowned gallery Space 54. The film premiered in a multi-media gallery event that fused the worlds of fashion, film and art installation. In a postmodern conceit that favours my visual style and Helen's styling, "The Dionysian" is a narrative film to music that showcases the work of a host of new design talent in fashion, along with a powerful, original orchestral score and sound design. As long as the production process was, it was a massive thrill to be able to do something free of all commercial and generic restrictions - and really let the imagery flow!
I'm so happy to have given "The Dionysian" its debut in a gallery space, and can know let it loose worldwide . . .

Once again, I have to say a massive and monumentally heartfelt thank you to each and every single person that poured their time, patience, faith and creativity into this project. No money . . . but hopefully a lot of glory!
I could not have done it without all of my crew, and I'm so happy to have met a whole host of people I'm itching to collaborate with again. Bring on the next super-styled endeavour . . !
