LIKE SAND THROUGH AN HOURGLASS - TATIANA 'SPIDER WEB' MUSIC VIDEO

My latest video for the production company Gas & Electric, and the debut UK single for European superstar Tatiana. This was an absolute joy to put to film; I had been absolutely itching to mount a lyrical video that combined ballet, sci-fi and high fashion for quite some time..!

Tatiana plays the part of a mournful, nomadic drifter trapped on a bleak - but beautiful - environment in space. In seemingly infinite blackness, she's the only living thing. Forever awaiting the return of her lover, whose signal she tries to pick up on a monolithic communication device. Lost in space, lost in time.

But looking fabulous..!

COMING SOON TOO...

In late 2010 I had the guilty pleasure of conceiving and directing a parody promo for the heads of Channel 4 based on the smash hit TV series "Glee"..!

The promo was produced by the commercials company The Outfit, styled by the fabulous Helen McGuckin, and completed in time for the channel's annual conference.

Coming very soon - stay tuned for more details..!

ELECTRIC DREAMS IN A LIQUID SKY . . .

Well, we built it and they came!

My East London rooftop became New York for a night as it was transformed into a divinely decadent "Hellraiser" playground a couple of weeks ago. And all for my long-planned fashion film collaboration with my gorgeous stylist Helen McGuckin, entitled "Prelude to a Nightmare"...

Comprising a stark studio shoot and a grittier rooftop one, it was quite an eventful day. To say the least!

Thankfully, the clouds just looked threatening and my team managed to cram a wealth of fabulous set-ups in, and showcase the work of cool new designers such as Marko Mitanovski, Shao Yen Chen and Ioannis Dimtrousis, along with several cameos from the fabulous patrons of Steve Strange's fantastic London club night, "The Face" . . .

Quite a shoot and quite a lot planned for it!

Alongside the fashion film, we also documented the story of the film in an editorial spread shot by the fashion photographer Patrick Schuttler. Both the film and editorial spread will debut in the New Year in a video/photography installation...So watch this space!

Until then, here are some teaser images of our rooftop set in progress...

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY . . .

So - far too long since an update!

I've been busily planning an upcoming fashion film for Diane Pernet's Shaded View of Fashion Film Festival with my trusty stylist Helen McGuckin . . . More details to come on that when we finally set our shoot dates . . !

In the meantime - and at the other end of the style spectrum - I've recently had the guilty pleasure of directing a "Glee" parody promo for the heads of Channel 4 ( teaser pic below ), and shall upload the final version to my website very soon . . .

And on the music video front, I've just shot a super stylised debut music video for a new band called The Kixx.

It's my very first project with Gas & Electric, and my first time working with the lovely producer Tom Knight and the incredibly talented DoP Dan Stafford-Clark ( teaser pic below ) . . .

I'm itchin' to get stuck into the edit - it should be a retina-scorching one!
