STEPHEN T LALLY - CREATIVE SHOWREEL 2013 . . .

Lots of exciting developments on the horizon - including my brand new website . . . Coming very soon, so watch this space.

In the meantime, below is my newly completed Creative Showreel  - by the fabulous Lucy Berry at Final Cut London.

This reel is my calling card for a new year, a new burst of work . . . And new adventures. Bring it on.

" With a keen and meticulous eye for beauty, Stephen T Lally is a director with a passion for the fantastical, irreverent and mysterious . . .

Stephen began his formal film training in The Dublin Institute of Technology, where he specialised in photography and direction. Four years later he saw his graduate film - a short movie musical entitled 'Lost For Words' - go on to a host of international film festivals, including picking up an award at the prestigious New York International Independent Film Festival.

Since moving to London, Stephen has worked hard to build up his fashion photography and video portfolio, and hone his flair for directing, styling and art direction. Cutting his teeth on EPKs at the commercials production company Weilands, he worked on a variety of solo projects ranging from video installations to band photography to product campaigns.

Stephen has since forged ahead with his stylised pop vision for a diverse range of artists, and for clients including Universal Records and Warner Bros. His forays into music video highlight an often tongue in cheek directing flair, and strengths in rich colour palettes, flawless beauty lighting and cinematic framing.

In 2010 his work was profiled in the international arts publication NOOVO Editions, and he also moved into production design with Claire Oakley's award-winning short film 'Beautiful Enough'. In 2011 he further diversified into commercial beauty and fashion - directing promo films for Rimmel London, E4 and Special K. In 2012 he proved his ongoing versatility by conceiving and directing fashion films and video installations for Fault Magazine and Volt Cafe, as well as progressing into TV commercials with Wella Shockwaves and Dance Central 3 for XBox 360.

He looks forward to developing his striking and inventive visual style in every creative challenge and brief that befalls him throughout 2013 . . .
